It is officially 2009 and what a busy year I have had. My time lately has been spent at home, I always seem to find things I want to do. At the moment I have established a “herb garden” or at least a few potted herbs and the beginning of a raised garden bed, which I hope to have done before the end of January. The poor RV90 remains neglected at Mum and Dad’s. I am slightly tempted to bring it here so I can work on it some more, but for now I think I have my hands full.

I have managed to neglect my blog once again but apart from all the other RV90 enthusiast it doesn’t really see that much traffic so I am sure no one will notice.

After a while I start to feel bad for my website as it sits idol with nothing more then a static HTML page to show for itself. I am sure that if it could communicate with me, it would express its disappointment with all the false hope and promises of a better existence. I have often fooled myself into thinking I was putting it to use, however in reality pages that are often hidden in sub directories and only a few people have ever seen is not really “use”.

Sure I have done some pretty cool things from time to time, even attempted to make a pong game using ajax, an ajax photo gallery, wedding information and I also had a blog, most of them now slowly gathering dust in an unknown sub directory or are soon to be outsourced like a government IT department.

So for this fresh start I have decided to move the blog the the numero uno spot, also known as “/” or root. This way when I do visit my website I will hopefully feel shamed into posting some irrelevant information about the goings on in my life, again I may just be luring my website into another of those false hopes, but only time will tell.
